We are recruiting volunteer monitors to visit locations along the pipeline route, and report on current conditions on the ground. Volunteers will receive training on what to watch for and how to stay within the law while making their observations. They will have a support system to answer questions.
If you are interested in volunteering as a monitor, please fill out the Watch the Line Monitor Application.
Once you’ve sent in your application, the next step is to attend a virtual monitor training. The application includes the upcoming training sessions; choose the one that works best for you. If you cannot make any of the upcoming sessions, we still encourage you to submit the application and select the option to receive information about future training sessions. We will let you know once more training sessions have been scheduled.
If you’d like to learn more about the project and being a volunteer monitor, check out these resources:

Includes links to key articles, references, and online postings such as Enbridge permit filings. Also has links to tools and references used by active monitors, such as technology cheat sheets.
